Batesville is looking for a Housekeeping 1stShift to join our team in Manchester, TN.
As Housekeeper responsibilities include the cleaning of facility and maintaining areas in a clean and habitable condition for employees, customers and visitors per established standards and procedures.

All trash receptacles are emptied daily and trash is placed at proper location for disposal Clean and sanitize all break areas, restrooms, common areas per established schedules Drive a tugger to collect and transport dumpsters to trash compactor, then unload dumpsters into the trash compactor utilizing a hoist (training provided) All office and window glass is cleaned and free of smudges, dust and fingerprints All eye wash stations and other stainless steel surfaces are cleaned and polished daily Entrance areas, walk off mats, and entrance carpeting are cleaned and/or vacuumed on a daily basis; baseboards are cleaned and dusted per established schedules Check and replace all water jugs at water dispensers throughout the facility Cleaning closets are kept in a neat and orderly manner Drive floor scrubber to clean plant floor (training provided) Supplies needed are requested in a timely manner Clean parking lot areas per established schedules Defective equipment or materials and building discrepancies are promptly reported to supervisor so corrective action can be taken Safety practices and procedures are followed at all times Opportunities are identified for reduction of cycle times and suggestions are evaluated and Other duties may be assigned Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Travel Travel is not required.
Qualifications - External Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 2 months related housekeeping/general office cleaning experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in general office cleaning.
