Certified Public Accountant
Job Description:
The Certified Public Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of financial reports, including, but not limited to, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
The position will also be responsible for assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasting.
This position will work closely with the CFO and other accounting professionals to ensure that all required documentation is in place and accurate.
This position will also assist in the audit process as needed.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements for various entities using Microsoft Excel Prepare budgets and forecasts for various entities using Microsoft Excel Prepare internal financial reports using QuickBooks Online or other accounting software Assist in the preparation of tax returns for various entities using QuickBooks Online or other accounting software Assist in the preparation of tax returns for various entities using QuickBooks Online or other accounting software Prepare all required federal income tax returns including 1099 forms and W-2's to be filed with each company based on federal income tax filing deadlines as well as 15% payroll taxes to be prepared each quarter based on federal and state payroll taxes due April 15th each year.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
A CPA is preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, including knowledge of corporate reporting and corporate disclosure forms.

Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Online, etc.
