Minimum of High School Diploma or EquivalentAbility to adjust to varying tasks as assignedDemonstrates proper communication and personal skillsEssential
Responsibilities:
Reports to office upon arrival at schoolKeeps accurate record of activities and objectives for studentsInteracts in a positive and professional manner with students and staffMaintains and respects confidentiality of student and school personnel informationMaintains classroom management that fosters a safe and positive environment for allstudents and staff in accordance with school and county policiesEnsures the adequate supervision to assure health, welfare, and safety of all studentsTakes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment,materials and facilitiesReports all student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to theappropriate authority immediately or as soon as reasonably possibleFollows teacher lesson plansRemains in classroom until students have been dismissedRemains in building and on duty until the completion of the work dayReturns instructional materials, equipment and keys to proper placeDetermines if his/her services will be required for the next school dayModels non-discriminatory practices in all activitiesGeneral Requirements:
Follows Federal and State Laws and adopted policies and procedures in accordancewith School Board prioritiesConducts oneself in the best interest of students, in accordance with the higheststandards of public education and in support of the District's Vision/MissionStatementsMaintains ethical standards, which include professionalism and the protection ofconfidential student and staff informationOther Responsibilities and/or duties may be required and assignedBOE Revisions Approved 2/8/10About the Company:
