Production Control Analyst
Reports To:
Production Control Supervisor
Description:
Under the supervision of the Manager of Production Control, the Production Control Analyst is responsible for placing orders, expediting back orders, and processing paper work with customers and suppliers as required.
Responsibilities:
Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environment Policies.
Plan and maintain Inventory Levels of assigned parts within acceptable levels.
Coordinates the flow of parts between suppliers and M-Tek, Inc.
Interfaces with all internal departments working on projects, to keep up to date on project status and ensure timely communication.
Reviews mass production schedules and forecast to plan inventory requirements. Release purchase orders to meet inventory plan.
Expedite parts as necessary to met changing requirements; enlist help where necessary to ensure customer requirements are met.
Confers with production personnel to clarify processing methods
Prepares computer program from worksheet and inputs required data.
Edits source data to ensure conformance to pre-determined standards. Check for errors.
Responsible for processing requisitions, purchase orders, tracking back orders and maintaining current product information files.
Education:
High School Education or GED, with either two (2) years College.
Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering preferred
Experience:
Two (2) years related work experience preferred.

Skills:
Strong Mathematical skills
Working knowledge of computer-based maunufacturing systems.
Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel
Training Specific to Positions:
None

Ability to work well with others
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent personal computer skills
Demonstrate sharp negotiation and analytical skills
Must be well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities.
Ability to travel with little notice
